House 02 · and each after

Add another home.

The same thin path as the first residence. Print the pass, tick it in the plant room — the principal need not attend. Detail lives in the integrator guide.

Home Assistant is commissioned

The house already speaks HA. Nothing is ripped out for Patrimony.

02

New Cloudflare Tunnel

A new HTTPS hostname, outbound only. Follow /setup_tunnel. Example: https://house-02.example.com — never a town or property name.

03

Patrimony custom component

HACS custom repository (Integration): https://github.com/lindystudio/patrimony-ha. Restart, then add the integration. See the component steps.

04

Mint a pairing QR

In the Patrimony panel, issue a QR for this house only. Fresh code if it expires. Labels: component README.

05

Principal claims in iOS

Sign in with Apple, add the residence, Scan QR. The new card sits in the wallet.

06

Offline vs stale

The wallet shows Offline if the house is unreachable or last heard is missing, and Stale if last heard is older than about five minutes. A quiet OK card is reachable and fresh. Detail: verify the card.

07

Optional: a second person

The principal creates a code. The guest Signs in with Apple and accepts — no email required. Skip if the principal’s card is enough.

08

Discard the sitting

Do not keep QR photos, tunnel tokens, or location-revealing IPs. If you write to us, send only the public HTTPS URL.

Repeat from stub 01 for house 03. Full prose: integrator guide.

Quiet rule

One house, one hostname, one QR.

Do not point two residences at the same tunnel. Do not scan last season’s code. Examples on these pages use example.com only.
